Creative Direction: Day-of-Action Visual System
Provided creative direction for the visual identity of a large-scale rally, march, and day of action organized by working families protesting labor conditions. Led the development of a cohesive visual system across rally signage, banners, and t-shirts, with particular focus on building a strong, camera-ready palette from difficult brand colors. Worked closely with a graphic designer, an artists’ cooperative, and cross-functional stakeholders in communications, digital, organizing, and senior leadership to translate campaign messaging into physical materials that could perform both on the ground and in the press.
The work gave the action a unified visual stance in public space, strengthened participant energy and identification, and helped produce compelling press imagery that traveled across coverage in the Associated Press, USA Today, the Chicago Sun-Times, and The Guardian.
